Break Free from Anxiety, Stress & Low Mood with Online Hypnotherapy
Calm the racing mind, ease tension and lift low mood with online hypnotherapy – available anywhere in Australia, from the comfort of your own home.
Understanding Anxiety, Stress & Low Mood
Anxiety and stress can show up in many ways – a constantly racing mind, tightness in the chest or stomach, trouble relaxing, trouble sleeping, or feeling permanently “on edge”. Low mood can add its own weight: flatness, loss of motivation, withdrawing from people or activities you used to enjoy.
Most people I work with already know what they “should” be doing to feel better. They’ve tried breathing exercises, self-help tools, pushing through with willpower or simply pretending everything is fine. Yet the worry, tension or heaviness returns – often at the worst times.
Hypnotherapy approaches anxiety, stress and low mood differently. In a calm, focused state, we work with the subconscious patterns that keep you stuck in cycles of overthinking, tension, self-criticism or hopelessness.
Together we can begin to:

-
Soften the constant mental noise and physical tension
-
Build calmer automatic responses to everyday triggers
-
Shift unhelpful beliefs about yourself and your future
-
Support motivation and a more hopeful outlook
Sessions are online via Zoom, so you can work on anxiety, stress and low mood from the comfort and privacy of your own home, anywhere in Australia.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can hypnotherapy really help with anxiety and stress?
A: For many people, yes. Anxiety and stress hypnotherapy works by calming both the mind and the body at a deeper level. In session, you’re guided into a relaxed, focused state where we can work with the subconscious patterns that drive worry, overthinking, tension and unhelpful automatic reactions. Over time, this can reduce the intensity of anxious thoughts and physical symptoms, and help you respond more calmly to everyday triggers.

Q: What about low mood or mild depression – is hypnotherapy suitable?
A: Hypnotherapy can be a helpful complement for low mood and mild–moderate depression, especially when you feel stuck, unmotivated or disconnected from life. We focus on softening harsh self-talk, building a more hopeful outlook and strengthening motivation and self-worth.
It is not a replacement for medical or psychological care. If you have significant depression, suicidal thoughts or a complex mental health history, I recommend that you stay in contact with your GP or mental health professional while we work together.

Q: How many hypnotherapy sessions will I need for anxiety or low mood?
A: It depends on your history, how long you’ve been struggling and what else is going on in your life. Some people notice a shift in 3–4 sessions, while others benefit from a short program of sessions over several weeks or months, especially if anxiety or low mood has been present for years. In your free Discovery Session, we’ll talk through your situation and I’ll give you an honest recommendation so you know what to expect.

Q: Will I have to talk about everything that has happened to me?
A: You’re always in control of how much you share. Some clients find it helpful to talk through past experiences in detail; others prefer to focus more on how anxiety, stress or low mood shows up right now. Hypnotherapy doesn’t require you to relive every event. We can still work effectively with physical symptoms, emotions and patterns without going into your whole story if that feels overwhelming.

Q: What does anxiety hypnotherapy feel like? Will I still be in control?
A: Most people describe hypnotherapy as feeling like a very calm, focused state – similar to being absorbed in a book or a film. You are awake, aware and in control the whole time. You can move, speak, open your eyes or stop at any point. You only accept suggestions that feel right for you. My role is to guide, not control; we work together to create changes you genuinely want.

Q: Can I do online hypnotherapy for anxiety from anywhere in Australia?
A: Yes. All sessions are delivered online via Zoom, so you can work with me from anywhere in Australia – whether you’re in Perth, another city or a regional or remote area. Many clients appreciate being able to explore anxiety, stress and low mood from the privacy and comfort of their own home. All you need is a quiet space, a stable internet connection and a device with a camera.

Q: Can I use hypnotherapy alongside my GP, psychologist or medication?
A: Absolutely. Many clients see me while also working with a GP, psychologist, counsellor or psychiatrist. Hypnotherapy can support the work you’re already doing by helping you manage anxiety and stress, sleep better, change unhelpful habits and feel more motivated and hopeful. If you’re on medication or have a diagnosed mental health condition, I encourage you to keep your healthcare providers informed so your support is well-coordinated.
